Taiwan in 12 real scenes, petrol station included

Mandarin for Taiwan is now taught inside conversations, from Taoyuan airport to the night market, in traditional characters and Taiwan wording.

What you can do now

  • 12 scenes and 100 key words: the airport SIM desk, the MRT, a taxi, 7-Eleven, a breakfast shop, bubble tea, a night market, a full-service petrol station and more.
  • Taiwan wording throughout: 捷運 for the metro, 網卡 for a data SIM, 掰掰 for bye, and the 載具 receipt question at 7-Eleven.
  • The petrol station scene includes the line that started Hundred Words: 你的油箱蓋在另外一邊喔, your fuel cap is on the other side.

Why we made this change

Taiwan uses different everyday words from mainland China, and the questions you get asked at a Taiwanese counter are different too.
