Drill the 100 words, ten questions at a time
Every language now has drills that test you on your 100 words and bring back the ones you miss.
What you can do now
- Listen to a word and pick what it means.
- See a meaning and pick the word.
- In Vietnamese, fill the gap in a real sentence, or hear what someone says and pick your reply.
- Drill all 100, only the words you have marked as learned, or one scene.
Why we made this change
A flashcard checks that you recognise a word. At the till, the cashier says it fast and waits for an answer. Drills make you recall the word, and the ones you get wrong come back more often until they stick.
